dr. clare beckett-mcinroy - president bizladies bahrain
Dr Clare Beckett-McInroy has twenty years of teaching, leadership and management experience. She is passionate about people and organisations achieving their full potential and developing the leaders of tomorrow. Clare holds an EdD in Educational Research from the University of Bath UK and a range of qualifications in psychometric instruments, coaching as well as career education and guidance.
Currently Clare is running Beckett McInroy Consultants, the only business and educational consultancy in Bahrain (www.becket-mcinroy.com). Previously she was Assistant Professor at the University of Bahrain Teacher's College and worked with JWZ Solutions as an educational consultant. Further she is active as a senior consultant with Learning Plus and lectures Human Resource Management for the University of Strathclyde MBA program. Clare has also worked as Dean of Student Affairs and Assistant Professor at the Royal University for Women, Bahrain and Assistant Head of Sixth Form and Guidance Counselor at St Christopher's School, Bahrain.
dr. petra schruth - past president bizladies bahrain
Dr. Petra Schruth is Director and General Manager of 2024Sight (www.2024sight.com). Previously director of Simplicity Consulting International Inc. (trading as PS-Consulting) she specialised in business strategy, competitive intelligence and executive coaching. Petra worked in Shell International, holding senior management positions in the exploration division and corporate headquarters.
Petra studied Geology at Cologne University and Geophysics at Karlsruhe University. Multi-lingual she has worked in Germany, Netherlands, UK and Bahrain. She is a board member of the Bahrainisch-Deutsche Gesellschaft e.V. (BDG) and a member of the City Women's Network in London. A special interest in promoting women's career development lead to founding Bizladies Bahrain, a network for senior professional women.
